How to get lowest airfare prices
Tip – Book your flight early. Traveling to Croatia requires some planning, usually best done well ahead of time. You'll need to know where you want to go,
and book accordingly. Discounted airfare is available; however, you'll find that as the flight fills up, the ticket
prices skyrocket. Booking early is the best way to get the lowest price possible.
In July 2017, after reporting nearly $400 earnigs for the
first half of the year, the low-budget airline Ryanair announced a further reduction in price of its airfares of up
to 9%. Owing to increasing competition, Ryanair is expected to cut their aifare prices by about 5% by the end of
September 2017. This is expected to get even lower in the ensuing 6 months after that, by about
8%.
Easy Jet and Wizz Air have also announced chepaer aifares in
the 2nd half of 2017. The average aifare price has been just over 40 Euros in mid 2017, according to
Ryanair.

Flying to Croatia
Flying into a small airport can be exciting, but you'll find
problems as well. The best choice is to fly into one of the 6 major airports in the country.
Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, Zadar and Split all offer international airports served by major
airlines.
Traveler from the US will most likely have to change planes
to another carrier in Europe to reach several destinations.
Zagreb Airport
Aeroflot, Air France, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, BH
Airlines, Croatia Airlines, CSA, Germanwings, LOT, Lufthansa, Malev, TAP, Turkish Airlines and WIZZ Air
serve Zagreb
Airport. Most of these are Western European airlines, with a few Eastern European airlines
thrown in.
Rijeka Airport
Rijeka is a smaller airport, serviced by a number of
airlines, including Croatia Airlines, HLX, Ryanair and several others.
Zadar Flights
Zadar is served by Croatia Airlines, Ryanair, Sky Europe,
