WTO expo in Dublin

DUBLIN - 26. January 2006 -- Croatian National Tourist Board is amongst hundreds of participants taking part of in the World Tourism Organization expo show, being held in RDS Simonscourt Dublin, Ireland. The Holiday World Show is beinh held from Thursday, 26. January until Sunday, 29. January 2006.

Last year over 45,000 Irish spent their summer holidays in Croatia. This year it's expected that the number will be significantly higher. Irish visitors are usually known as good spenders, often staying in luxury villas, going sailing and generally spending well over 49 Euros per day - the average that tourists spend in Croatia.

After sometime being confused with WTO (World Trade Organization), World Tourism Organization in 2006 changed its name to United Nations World Tourism Organization - UNWTO.
